Boney Cosyleon

 

President/CEO

1977-Present

 

Bonifacio’s   “Boney”  career in construction began in the early 1970’s when he was a Materials Tester, Surveyor and Designer for Fountain Sand & Gravel.  The experience he gained while working there produced a foundation to which he was able to become what he is today.   While working for an architect as a draftsman Boney learned the detailed aspect of the construction trade.   In 1972 Mr. Cosyleon completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Colorado State University in Pueblo.   In 1977 he worked for Byerly & Byerly, Inc. estimating heavy highway curb and gutter work and landed is first work at the United States Air Force Academy in 1979. In 1983 he became part owner of Byerly & Cosyleon, Inc. and continued estimating jobs in Colorado, New Mexico , Arizona, and Wyoming.  In 2013 the name changed again to Cosyleon & Cosyleon, Inc. to reflect his daughter’s leadership within the company.

Eva Cosyleon

 

Vice President.

July 2009-Present.

 

Eva’s knowledge of construction stems from different experiences she has had throughout her life.   It began with various summer jobs has a teenager doing landscaping, minor drywall repair, to working for C&C at the Air Force Academy.  Her bachelor of arts in Architecture gave her the understanding of the design stage of the industry.  After spending two years as a Peace Corp Volunteer in Ghana West Africa she became familiar with budgeting, and personnel management, while working with communities to build tourism facilities.   Much of her knowledge of the construction process can be directly linked to her time at South Valley Drywall where she was a project coordinator, in charge of submittals, change requests, change orders, billings and payroll.  She returned to school and received a Master’s of Science in City & Regional Planning that provided her the understanding of city, state, and federal budgeting and bureaucratic processes.  

 

Her starting duties included being a safety officer and project coordinator.  She continues these tasks along with providing estimates, submittals, correspondence between the GC’s and Superintendent and other stake holders.

Lesley Vigil

 

Accounts Payable

November 2015-Present

 

Lesley has been with Cosyleon & Cosyleon, Inc. since November 2015. Prior to joining our team, she had over 17 years of payroll and administrative experience in the construction, civil, engineering and healthcare industries. As our front office contact, she is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, renewing certifications for Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming. She is THRILLED to be back in the construction industry. She is pursuing a degree in Construction Office Management.

Chris Casaus

 

Project Foreman

April 2005-Present

 

Chris has been with Cosyleon & Cosyleon, Inc. for more than 11 years. He started off as a Cement Mason Apprentice in 2005. With his hard work and dedication, he became a Journeyman Mason quickly. His initiative and loyal dedication made his promotion to Concrete Forman a smooth transition.

 

He is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising project personnel, activities concerned with the demolition and construction of heavy highway, commercial and industrial projects. Chris has experience in all types of concrete work including: flatwork, curb & gutter, median barrier wall, decorative & stamped concrete, concrete stain, exposed aggregate and retaining walls.

 

His experience and eye for quality work has helped him gain the confidence of local officials throughout projects he has worked on in cities and counties in Colorado and New Mexico.

 

Chris is OSHA-10 Certified, an experienced equipment operator and has a CDL license.

 

He is an experienced foreman, ensuring safety and company policies are followed.

Carlos Salazar

 

Assistant Superintendant

May 2003-Present

 

Carlos has been with Cosyleon & Cosyleon, Inc. for more than 13 years. He started off as a Cement Mason Apprentice in 2003 and became a Journeyman Mason quickly due to his perseverance, hard work and attention to detail. In 2009 he volunteered to become our safety officer, where his bilingual skills became very useful for our diverse team.

 

In 2014 he took the lead as foreman and continued his drive, ingenuity and trustworthiness. This made his promotion from a Concrete Forman/Safety Officer to an Assistant Superintendent evident.

 

His positive attitude and energy make him a pivotal component to our projects at the United States Air Force Academy.

 

He is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising project personnel, activities concerned with the demolition and construction of heavy highway, commercial and industrial projects. Carlos has experience in all types of concrete work including: flatwork, curb & gutter, median barrier wall, decorative & stamped concrete, concrete stain, exposed aggregate and retaining walls, and marble & granite placement.

 

Carlos offers valuable leadership to his crews on all of his projects. Carlos is OSHA-10 Certified, an experienced equipment operator and bilingual, making communication among crew, subcontractors and vendors more effective, safe and productive.

Eduardo Ruiz

 

Project Foreman

Eduardo has been with Cosyleon & Cosyleon, Inc. for nearly 3 years. He began with Cosyleon & Cosyleon as a Journeyman Mason in 2013. His professionalism, initiative, and loyal dedication made his promotion to Concrete Forman a magnificent transition. Eduardo offers advantageous leadership and direction for his crew.

 

Eduardo has experience in all types of concrete work including: flatwork, curb & gutter, median barrier wall, decorative & stamped concrete, concrete stain, exposed aggregate and retaining walls, and marble & granite placement.

 

Eduardo is bilingual and an inspirational leader. He is ACI Certified (by the American Concrete Institute as a Concrete Technician and Concrete Finisher). He offers valuable knowledge, skill and direction to his crews on all of his projects. Eduardo is also OSHA-10 Certified, an experienced equipment operator and bilingual, making communication among crew, subcontractors and vendors more effective, safe and productive.
